I am obsessed with Dutch or French Ovens. Now that fall is approaching, I am ready to stock up on a new one. I have two- a 6 quart and a 7 quart Lodge Cast Iron Dutch Oven that I got on Amazon a few years ago. They are great, can easily be thrown in the dishwasher and I generally like Lodge’s other cast iron products. I got the Lodge because they are significantly cheaper -like more than $100 cheaper- than a Le Creuset or a Staub and I have been happy with them. I have used them for soups, stews, pastas and more. They are both pretty big and pretty heavy and I am now looking for a slightly smaller one-about 4.5 to 5.5 quart and I am interested in upgrading to a Le Creuset. I could also consider a Staub, but I have been obsessed with Le Creuset for a while.
Here are some that I found on Amazon:
This is the Le Creuset Signature 4.5 Quart in Cerise. Priced at $272.11 on Amazon, it is a little steep.
